I love to run. Thirty minutes was all it took to confirm it. Yesterday (after 2 weeks of not being able to run) I put on my shoes and headed out the door at day break. 30 minutes along a foggy inner harbour here in Victoria was all it took to know that I am over the hurdle and back in the game. When things get tough at Ironman New Zealand I will remember this rough patch and the positive thoughts and energy (not just my own) that it took to get through it.
Thank you to all of those that have helped in getting me through this. Your advice, care and concern were instrumental in getting me back on the road.
