Bermuda - The First 48 Hours!

It is always fun to explore someplace new in the world. That is one of the greatest things that triathlon has given me over the past 18 years. This year will be no exception. Having spent the past 48 hours here in Bermuda I am already blown away at the beauty of this place. Day 1 saw me out on the bike and riding around most of the Island with Sue Morrison (my homestay, along with her husband Bermuda Dave). We then did a nice quick 30 minute transition run followed by a dip in Harrington sound. The water is a blue as it in pictures, but I must say it is a bit cooler this time of year. Wetsuits are a must. Here are a couple pictures of where I am staying and the view from up here at Whale Watch Estates.

A couple of pics from today's swim as well. Here is today's swim crew; Dave, Sue, Coyatito and Gabby. We swim off this dock, where as you can see, it was a bit rough today!
