Today was supposed to be the big ride up over the Kohala Mountains, but once again the wind was up blowing around 50mph so we went back towards Kona. One group went up Kaloko road while the other road up Kuakini Highway to the Ironman turn around. The wind is making every ride here EPIC! The bike was followed by a 30 minute Transition Run past the big hotels and then it was time to rest before a short little swim in A Bay! One more day to go and then I will start the journey down to New Zealand.
