Just a quick update. Rach, Luke and I spent the last two days driving from Victoria down to Oceanside, California where Rach will be racing this Saturday. The drive was uneventful, but long. The weather down here is awesome. We have a great little place on the beach and can watch the surfers out the front window. Today was a good tough swim set at the Carlsbad pool in the sunshine followed by a 2:30 spin to loosen out the legs from the drive. I will be getting in a good solid 5 days of riding down here without the need for fenders. Can't wait! Eat, Train, Sleep will be the motto for the next week.
We have a number of HPR teammates joining us down here in a couple days (some to race and some to cheer) so it will be a mini reunion. I will try and post some updates and pictures.
